I have come to rely on them too. Their site wasn’t proxied out from my work so I could use them to update various sites even though access to the sites themselves (Twitter, MySpace, Tumblr etc.) was blocked. I’ve not been able to find out anything about whassup with them going offline. Hope it’s only a temporary glitch.

Apparently the popular service Ping.fm was victim to an outage this evening. Visitors to their website are treated to a parked page at GoDaddy.com, but with a little searching I was able to discover the true nature of the situation:
